The Wayne County Grand Jury met for their regular monthly session
on Monday, February 17th and indictments were filed on 11 individuals
in the Circuit Clerks Office.
Erik Tompkins was indicted for Theft of Identity, a Class D Felony.
Michael Lair and Kelly Lair were each indicted for Receiving Stolen
Property, a firearm, a Class D Felony.
Former Police Officer Allen Braden was indicted for Bribery of a
Public Servant, a Class C Felony and Theft by Failure to make
Required Disposition of Property over 500 dollars, a Class D Felony.
Jeffrey Grinstead was indicted for 3 counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, one Class C and two Class D Felony’s. Grinstead was also
indicted for Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.
Justin Gregory, Jennifer Gregory and Ricky Hagan were each indicted
for three counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
and two counts of Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child, 4th
Cody Lewis and Jessica Brumley were each indicted for Possession
of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, a Class D Felony and Possession
of Drug Paraphernalia, A Class A Misdemeanor. Lewis was also indicted
for No Insurance.
Zachariah Jones was indicted for Assault 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
