Wayne County Grand Jury Met On Monday, May 19th
The Wayne County Grand Jury met Monday and indictments were
filed on 14 individuals and other un-named individuals in the Circuit
Clerk’s Office.

Billy J Acrey was indicted for Theft By Unlawful Taking, over 10,000

Anthony Windisch was indicted for Rape 3rd Degree.

Ian T Miller was indicted for Murder, a capital offense in connection
with the shooting death of Gavin Thompson.

Jamie Sweet was indicted for on six counts of Trafficking in a
Controlled Substance and Persistent Felony Offender.

John Allen Denney was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property, a

Billy Burke, Junior was indicted for twenty counts of Criminal
Possession of a Forged Instrument, 2nd Degree.

In connection with a theft the Belden plant in Monticello … Jimmy
Pruitt was indicted for 16 counts of Theft By Unlawful Taking over
ten thousand dollars. Jimmy and Christopher C Pruitt were charged
with 24 other counts of Theft By Unlawful Taking over ten thousand
dollars. Jimmy Pruitt was also charged with 1 count of Theft By
Unlawful Taking over 500 dollars and two counts of Forgery, 2nd
degree. Jimmy, Christopher and Patrick Pruitt and others unnamed, co-conspirators were also Indicted on Engaging in Organized Crime.

Tammy Rigney and Samuel Leroy Daniels were indicted for Burglary,
3rd Degree and Theft By Unlawful Taking over 500 dollars. Tammy
Rigney, Samuel Daniels and Ricky Daniels were indicted for
Tampering with Physical Evidence and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree. Cody Phillips and Staci Inman Phillips were indicted for
Receiving Stolen Property.

Viewers are reminded the indictment of a person by a Grand Jury

and unless proven guilty.
