Police moved quickly on Friday, September 26th to arrest a Wayne
County man who allegedly told an undercover officer he was about

According to the Lexington Herald Leader, Brandon Lynn Jones was

force in Washington, D.C. made contact with Jones through an
internal email system on Craigslist - that according to a sworn
statement from Thad Lambdin, an FBI special agent in London.
The officer was posing as a man willing to use an eight year old girl
for illegal purposes. In emails or text messages, Jones allegedly
told the undercover officer that he would like to meet another man
like himself and gave instructions on how to have sex with a child -
that according to Lambdin's affidvit.
Jones also allegedly told the officer he would use the child the next
day to make pornographic images to share. Police made an
emergency request to Craigslist for information to track down the
email being used to send messages, then used other databases to
find Jones address.
FBI agents arrested Jones on Friday, September 26th. A federal
Magistrate Judge ordered that Jones be kept in custody, after his
