Wayne County Grand Jury Indicts 26 During July Meeting
The Wayne County Grand Jury met Tuesday for their regular
monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 21st and indictments were
filed on twenty six individuals in the Circuit Clerks Office.

Viewers are reminded the indictment of a person by a grand
jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent
until and unless proven guilty.


Former Wayne County Deputy and Monticello Police Officer Micah
Morrow was indicted for Abuses of Public Trust under ten thousand
dollars and four counts of Theft by Failure to Make Required
Disposition under ten thousand dollars.

Jacob Bell was indicted for Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree.

Matthew Brown was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree
and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Dustin Burchett was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree.

Cody D Chilton was indicted for Burglary, 3rd Degree Theft by
Unlawful Taking under 500 dollars and Persistent Felony Offender,
2nd Degree.

William S Cross was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st
Degree.

Campbell Daniels was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Lucas Decker was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree.

James David Denney was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st
Degree.

Edwin Dishman was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree
and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Jeffrey Fulton was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Raymond J Garrett was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree while in Possession of a Firearm - Trafficking
in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree while in Possession of a
Firearm. Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Brian L Lawson was indicted for Fleeing and Evading Police, 1st
Degree three counts of Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree
Reckless Driving and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Alleasha L Knox and Brian L Lawson were each indicted for two
counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument , 2nd degree
two counts of Theft by Deception under five hundred dollars.
Knox was also charged with Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree
and Lawson with Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree

Michael D Lovett was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Brian D Miller was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance,
1st Degree.

Joshua New was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Charles L Ovington was indicted for Burglary, 2nd Degree and
Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Samuel D Price was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

35 year old Scott Sexton was indicted for Promoting Contraband,
1st Degree.

Summer Stringer was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st
Degree.

Miles D Sutton was indicted for Criminal Possession of a Forged
Prescription, 1st Offense.

Justin Upchurch was indicted for Possession of a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Joshua Ryan Wells was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st
Degree and Persistent Felony Offender.

John West was indicted for one count each of Trafficking in a
Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree, 2nd Degree and 1st Degree

and Tommy West was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property over
ten thousand dollars and Theft by Deception under 500 dollars.
