Muse Arrested In One Of Kentucky's Largest Meth Busts
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck and Wayne
County Sheriff Tim Catron, on Wednesday, July 22nd - a joint
operation by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies
resulted in the seizure of approximately twelve pounds of
crystal meth.

Acting on information gained from a lengthy investigation,
many agencies participated. Officers served a Federal Search
Warrant on the residence of James Ronald "Ronnie" Muse of
Wayne County. The search led investigators to the seizure of
over $42,000 dollars cash. One pound of Methamphetamine
was seized in Wayne County. The investigation continued
leading investigators to a location in the Bronston community
of Pulaski County. A search at Bronston resulted in the seizure
of approximately 11 additional pounds of crystal meth with a
total street value of approximately $700,000 dollars. This is
believed to be the largest seizure of meth in the Eastern District
of Kentucky.

Ronnie Muse, age 68 was lodged in the Laurel County Detention
Center and charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled
Substances (Methamphetamine). Authorities anticipate further
Federal Indictments as the investigation continues.
