Ten Arrested By The Wayne County Sheriff's Department
According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron - two arrests were made
by Deputy Joe Horne on Thursday, September 3rd. A traffic stop on 2nd
Street resulted in David A. Hoke being arrested for Possession of a
Controlled Substance, 1st and numerous other traffic violations. Hoke
was also arrested on a Fayette County Family Court Order of Arrest for
Failure to Comply with previous orders of the Court. Michelle K. Stinson
of Monticello was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of
Arrest for Theft by Deception. Hoke and Stinson was lodged in the
Wayne County Detention Center.

A husband and wife were arrested following a two vehicle accident on
Wednesday, September 2nd. Deputy Travis Bell responded to a two
vehicle accident on KY 1546 in the Murl community. The operator of
one of the vehicles - Dustin J. Atkinson of Monticello was arrested and
charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs, Possession
of a Controlled Substance 3rd, and other traffic violations While still
investigation the accident - Rebecca J. Atkinson, the wife of Dustin
arrived at the scene, driving another vehicle when Deputy Bell noticed
she was having difficulties holding her head up. Rebecca Atkinson was
also charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs and
they were both lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

In other news from the Sheriff's Dept ... Deputy Tommy Spencer
arrested Jacob T. Gregory on Monday, August 31st on a Wayne
County District Court Warrant for Violation of a Kentucky Emergency
Protective Order/Domestic Violence, two counts of Fleeing and
Evading/Motor Vehicle/And On Foot, and for Failure to Appear.

Dustin R. Southwood was arrested by Deputy Joe Horne for
Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs,
Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended or Revoked Operators
License, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd, Possession of
Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt. Southwood
was also arrested on a Kentucky Parole Board Violation Warrant
for Absconding Parole Supervision, Use of a Controlled Substance/
Methamphetamine and Use of a Controlled Substance/Opiates.
Gregory and Southwood was lodged in the Wayne County
Detention Center.

Carl Lance Hickman was arrested on Monday, August 24th on
a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for
Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense.

On Saturday, August 22nd - Deputy Joe Horne arrested Ronnie
C. Smith for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd -
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating a Motor Vehicle
Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st.

Deputy Horne also arrested Jose. M Tzanahua-Choncoa on
August 22nd for Reckless Driving, No Operators License, Failure
of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance and numerous other
traffic violations.

Deputy Travis Bell arrested Tommy L. Atkinson on August 22nd
on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Failure
to Pay Fines in the amount of $3036.77. Smith, Tzanahua-
Choncoa and Atkinson was lodged in the Wayne County
Detention Center.
