Organized Crime And Burglary Cases Bound To Grand Jury
Evidence will be presented to the Wayne County Grand Jury on five individuals charged with organized crime in connection with trying to smuggle drugs into the Wayne County Detention Center … and the
Grand Jury will also hear evidence against three others involved in a burglary.

According to the Wayne Circuit Court Clerks Office …

Bond remains set on Clifton Davis. The Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree charge was dismissed and two other counts,
one that was amended to a Class A Misdemeanor were bound to the
Grand Jury.

John J Frost posted bond. His Trafficking in a Controlled Substance,
2nd degree charge was dismissed. The Promoting Contraband
charge was amended to a class A Misdemeanor and another charge
bound to the Grand Jury.

One charge against Jacob T Gregory was dismissed. The Possession
of a Controlled Substance charge was bound to the Grand Jury and
the attempt to promote contraband charge was dismissed due to lack
of probable cause. A second case against Gregory – Engaging in
Organized Crime was also bound to the Grand Jury. .

The first count against Tracy L Kidd was dismissed. Count two was amended to a Class A Misdemeanor – with probable cause found,
count two and three counts were bound to the Grand Jury.

Allyiah Stamper’s bond remains set on charges of Trafficking in a
Controlled Substance, 2nd degree and attempt to Promote Contraband.
The separate case against Stamper of engaging in organized crime was bound to the Grand Jury.

Bond remains set for Timothy Brown, Frankie Justin Higginbotham and Shane Savage for attempted burglary, burglary and possession burglary tools. Their cases have also been bound to the Grand Jury.
