Wayne County Grand Jury Indicted 41 Individuals In January
The Wayne County Grand Jury met for their regular monthly session this week and returned 41 indictments.

Jennifer N. Adams was indicted for Theft by Unlawful Taking over 10 thousand dollars (by allegedly taking or exercising control over cash or cash equivalents belonging to Wendy’s Wonderland)

Lance Coffey was indicted for Bail Jumping, 1st degree.

Megan N. Cox also known as Lacey Marshall was indicted for 23 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, 2nd degree (by allegedly possessing checks belonging to Wayne Lumber and passing them at numerous locations)

Gordon Cowan was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Cassie Coyle and Anthony R. Shaw were indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st degree and Persistent Felony Offenders, 2nd degree.

Emily L Denney was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree
(Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jacob Dishman was indicted for Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd degree – Criminal Trespassing, 3rd degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Travis R Edwards was indicted for Assault, 3rd degree – Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd degree – Resisting Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Austin Foster was indicted for Criminal Trespass, 1st degree.

William F. Gilliam, II was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property over 500 dollars – Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd degree – Driving on a DUI Suspended License and Persistent Felony Offender 1st degree.

Pearl Hall was indicted for Flagrant Non Support in excess of 1000 dollars.

David W. Houp and Lennie L. Lay was indicted for Assault 3rd degree and Alcohol Intoxication. Houp was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Lay was additionally indicted for Menacing.

Chelsea Lair was indicted for Burglary, 3rd – Theft by Unlawful Taking and Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, schedule 4.

Keith E. Duncan was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) – Tampering with Physical Evidence – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Possession of Marijuana and Public Intoxication.

Billy Scott Hurt was indicted for Bail Jumping 1st degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st.

Jimmy Darrin Lowe and Barton Sweet were each indicted for Receiving Stolen Property over 500 dollars and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st degree.

Marty McGuire was indicted for Bail Jumping, 1st degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st degree.

Misty McGuire was indicted for Assault, 3rd degree – Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) – Tampering with Physical Evidence – Fleeing or Evading Police and Terroristic Threatening.

Eric Rhule and Cody Rhule were each indicted for two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over 500 dollars. Eric Rhule was additionally charged with two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking – two counts of Criminal Mischief, 2nd degree and Robbery, 2nd degree.

Jose Sanchez was indicted for Rape 1st degree and Incest.

Sherman Sexton was indicted for Theft by Unlawful Taking over 500 dollars – Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st degree – Driving on a DUI Suspended License, 1st offense and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st degree.

Darvin M Shelton was indicted for Flagrant Non Support.

Susie Shelton was indicted for Bail Jumping, 1st degree.

Max Smith, Kaitlyn Lowe, Shasta Smith were each indicted for Burglary, 1st degree. Smith, Lowe, Smith and Cynthia Pyles were each charged with Retaliating Against a Participant in the Legal Process.

Ludwig Schmitt, Junior and Kayla Marlow were each indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine.)

Franki Spradlin was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) - Possession of Marijuana – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Tail Lamps.

Angela Sweet and Barton Sweet were each indicted for Burglary, 2nd degree – Criminal Mischief 1st degree – Possession of Burglar’s Tools – Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapont – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Resisting Arrest – Menacing and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st degree.
Barton Sweet was additionally charged with Fleeing or Evading Police,, 1st degree – Wanton Endangerment – and Operating on a Suspended License.

Stephen Vitatoe was indicted for Willfully Setting Fire to Land Not Owned or Controlled by him – Fire Hazard Season – Criminal Mischief 1st degree – Criminal Trespass 3rd degree – and 15 counts of Wanton Endangerment, 1st degree.

Jeffrey Walden was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and Promoting Contraband.

Brett Wilford was indicted for Promoting Contraband and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd degree.

Tiffany Young and Jonathan L Saunders were each indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Saunders was additionally charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.
